Armade in MI is more than just a store, it's a community of over 50 local vendors and artisans who bring their unique products to the table. From locally raised heritage meats to in-house made fudge, we are proud to offer a variety of high-quality products that are sourced and created by individuals right here in Macomb.
One of the things that makes Armade in MI stand out from other stores is the personal touch that our artisans bring.
Throughout the week, you can meet Tracey, our crystal and rock expert who is in-store on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Larry, our wreath maker, and Sandy, the creator of our unique clip-on jewelry, on Mondays. On Wednesdays, you can meet the super-talented artist Carol, and Shelly, our succulent plant enthusiast. Lisa from Creations by the Creek is in-store on Fridays and is your go-to source for tallow soaps and creams. On Tuesday mornings, beekeepers Debbie with 4 Bees Herb Farm and Kristen with Almosta Bee Farm come to share their passion for honey and bees. Melissa from Preppy Paws is in-store on Saturdays.
But it doesn't end there. (me) Our store founder, Justin, has been an integral part of Armade in MI since its inception in December 2018. He is a artisan who makes leather patch hats, graphics, decals, laser engravings, and even dabbles in some woodworking. He is here from Sunday through Wednesday to help you find the perfect product.
We also have Dawn, a seamstress, and the president of the Chamber of Commerce, who organizes community events. She is in-store from Wednesday through Saturday to help you find the perfect clothing item and answer any questions you may have.
Chef Jim, a local veteran beekeeper and educator of culinary arts who makes our fudge using honey from his bees. If you're lucky, you can catch a free smell from the fudge being made!
Shopping at Armade in MI means more than just supporting local businesses. It means supporting a community of talented individuals who have poured their hearts and souls into their craft. It means knowing that your purchase directly benefits those in your community and helps them continue to create and innovate. So come on down and see what we have to offer. You won't be disappointed!
